That's working really well, but unfortunately not all blogs make it obvious how to do that. It's great when I can do it - I just devote a whole netvibes tab to comments I'm active with, and I can follow along easily. I don’t try to follow all the posts that I comment on. Instead I follow the best of the best otherwise I would never get any sleep. My technique is fairly simple. I visit the same sites over and over so I simply pop in on posts that I commented on in the past and quickly skim the comments. Best of luck to you in your freelancing career. I have been consciously trying to interact with more people/groups to build up a network of people that read the same blogs as I do. I'm slowly pushing myself toward full time free lancing, and I know how important it will be to have a wide range of contacts. I've found the hardest part is tracking every place I have left comments to see if there have been follow up comments that warrant a response to mine. Those "receive notification of other comments" options are really handy for that, but then my inbox gets bombarded with sometimes un-useful information. Any one else have better techniques?
